The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. Both Ray and Mikaela are superb with their customer services. We arrived early and they secured our bags in their office and let us go out and come back later to check in. They honoured our request for an apartment on a higher level and they gave us one which was a fully refurbished one which was absolutely great. It was very neat and tidy, the bed and all the furniture were comfortable. The kitchen was great with a nice fridge and near new microwave. The air-con was efficient. The spa, sauna and pool were great too and thoroughly enjoyable. Ideal for couples.

Christopher James “Nice Views”
We stayed here earlier this month, for 3 nights, mid-week. Our room was very comfortable. One QS bed and a single. We really enjoyed the views, beach, ocean and sunsets over hinterland. The managers are very helpful and pleasant. The common areas appeared very clean. It was excellent value for us, because we like to cook some of our own meals. I only wish we had more time at Equinox. We’d prefer to stay for a week next time.

Older building but great apartment…it was big- clean – spacious and modern enough inside…2 couches- kitchen- dining table- balcony facing beach and port was perfect…great location- beach across the road- tram 5 min walk- which takes you to Calville ave- Broadbeach etc…and a 15-20 walk into calville ave…I was able to walk on the beach every morn…Equinox has a small pool and spa- perfect…a gym sauna…great place easy to find, and just spacious….only thing carpet in foyers were old and cleaners used a real powdery floral sense…stunk…the rest was awesome- prices were good

Peter S “Studio Room with fantastic View”
We spent three nights here in a corner Studio Room on the 11th floor overlooking the ocean with FANTASTIC VIEWS.
After a problem free check in we parked in the secure underground car park and took the lift to our floor. We could hardly believe the view that greeted us when we entered the room.
Being a Studio Room, the bedroom, lounge and dining are all one room. There was a kitchenette with full size fridge, microwave, cook-top, toaster and tea/coffee making.
The bathroom had a toilet, vanity and walk-in shower.
There is a balcony that wraps around the unit and has a small table and 2 chairs to sit and watch the view. There is a step down onto the balcony from the sliding door.
The bed and pillows were very comfortable and there is a pull out screen to shield the bed.
The dining had a glass top table with four chairs that need recovering as they are worn and a large matching coffee table.
There was a 3 seat lounge opposite the TV and 2 single chairs where you could enjoy the view from the sliding door or the large picture window.
The bathroom was functional but could do with an update.
The room has a ceiling fan as well as an air conditioner.
There is a bus stop at the front of the building and it a short walk to Tedder Ave precinct and to the light rail station.
As the unit faces east the sunrise comes straight into the room BUT there are block-out curtains and blinds that keep the room dark.

I stayed at EQUINOX SUN RESORT for 5 days at the end of August 17,
I have stayed here several times before. My apartment on the 7th floor was
beautiful,a large studio that appeared to be recently renovated , every appointment
was new.Sparkling white tiled floor, leather lounges,6 seat dining suite and every
thing that you need for a self catered holiday.
The building manager Ray, happy and always helpful.
A recent addition to the Gold Coast is the “G” Tram just out the back of the Equinox
an just 2 stops to Cavill Ave.
